No matter the nation, no matter the individuals involved, it always seems to come down to who can the establishment make the bigger puppet out of. Now I shall elaborate. As a current example, allow me to focus immediately on the upcoming United States Presidential Election. On the Republican side alone, it is very apparent. We'll start with current President Barack Obama. A very smooth speaker, charismatic figure, and charming individual. Obama has the appearance of an amazing public speaker. However, have a teleprompter go out, and the man can barely let out a whimper. It's very clear that the man is not simply speaking off-hand, but rather what he is told to say. Promises are made, promises are broken. Obviously, this is not go just for the President. But the degree to which Obama has gone against his word from his Presidential run is unmatched. After swearing to get the Troops out of both Afghanistan and Iraq, he has instead elevated the number of Troops in both nations to higher than any point during former President George W. Bush's tendency. Among other issues in his Presidency have been the Birth Certificate issue in which Obama failed, again and again, to produce his valid birth certificate amongst allegations he was actually a Kenyan-born individual, rather than Hawaiian. Obama also took on Chairmanship of the United Nations (UN) Security Council. A move which is in direct violation of Section 9 of the Constitution, which states: "No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State."
Within about 5 minutes of watching any of the mainstream media's news outlets such as CNN, Fox News, etc., it becomes so obviously clear that the man who the establishment would next like to see as US President is Texas Governor Rick Perry. Perry, a man who's track record includes admittedly forcibly vaccinating 12-year-old girls for a sexually-transmitted-disease, Human papillomavirus (HPV), has been made out to be the Republican savior in innumerable mainstream news telecasts. Although there is undoubtedly no such law which forces the HPV vaccination to be taken, Perry repeatedly lied to thousands of young girls and their families in saying the law stated that the vaccination was mandatory. This is a huge spit-in-the-face of parental rights in Texas. Merck, the manufacturer of the HPV vaccine Gardasil, hired Perry’s former chief of staff Mike Toomey as a lobbyist in 2005. And Toomey went to work on his former boss, and on February 2, 2007 Perry issued his infamous executive order.
Between both President Barack Obama and Rick Perry, you can clearly see that they are very easily swayed. One man who has received little-to-no recognition or praise within mainstream media factions is the one man who seems to really be the most in touch with what needs to be done to resolve the current recession and lack of jobs issues. Congressman Ron Paul, strict Constitutionalist, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy, and a strong leader when it comes to the proposed auditing of the Federal Reserve Bank, has been all but ignored during the ongoing Presidential debates. In fact, corporate puppet Fox News took matters one step further by actually adding an audio track of Paul being booed at an event the previous year to current Presidential debate footage. Just another low-blow in a race where Paul's name has been basically ignored although he has been arguably the top of the pack during the ongoing debates. Ron Paul's knowledge of the United States Constitution, as well as his recognition of when it is being ignored is unmatched. Unfortunately, being the only Presidential candidate that's not paid for by the same corporations as CNN, Fox News also assures that Paul's name will be mentioned much less than the affiliated candidates Obama, Perry, Mitt Romney and Michele Bachmann. Because of the fact that the majority of North Americans get their information on these candidates from the big name mainstream media, Ron Paul may not get as much attention throughout the entire election. This truly is a shame, because Dr. Ron Paul really has the entire Nation and its residents in mind at all times when he speaks.
So to say that true democracy is in place in North America is far from a truth. When we only get to see and hear from the candidates that are paid for by the mainstream corporations it is an impossible statement. More and more, the population is starting to wake up to these obvious games. Through internet-based alternative sources, people are finally given an opportunity to hear from the other candidates and what they stand for. While this is a firm step in the right direction, will it be enough to get someone such as Ron Paul into the White House? For the betterment of Both the United States, and subsequently my country of Canada, let's hope so.
