About

Naztee (born Curtis Greene on October 30, 1982 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada) has been paying his musical dues for a number of years now. The founder and main act of local record company Hoodrat Productions since September of 1996, Naztee has released or produced upwards of 20 underground albums. A strong believer in political activism and a devout sports fan, Naztee is extremely passionate about whatever topic he may be speaking. He is the oldest of four brothers to two loving parents. Two of his brothers, Kev-O & MSG, are also hip-hop producers and are contributors to the underground and upcoming albums, and youngest brother, Merrill, is an extremely talented piano player. A very musical family breeds an absolute love affair with all types of music.
But it’s been hip-hop music that has always captured the heart of Naztee, beginning back in 1993 after first hearing 2Pac’s Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z… album. Wrote his first mixtape album in 1996 at the age of 12 with brother Kev-O,  and hasn’t looked back since. After finally releasing debut LP, Sinister Sound on 10/30/09, Naztee is finally starting to get a little recognition. The album brought some local fanfare as well as radioplay and has escalated into a new project as well as a number of new collaborations for the forthcoming sophomore double-LP release, Livewire. E.P. Martial Law is now available as is debut LP Sinister Sound at www.sonaztee.com or via email at music@sonaztee.com
